As a part of the Patti Johnson Wilson Classics Series, one of Mozart's most well-known and beloved works, the Requiem, is coming to the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. Leading the company through the works will be guest conductor James Bagwell, who will be accompanied by soprano Amy Justman, tenor Omar Najmi, and more incredible vocalists. Also being performed will be Elgar's Serenade for Strings and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis. The Requiem was Mozart's final piece, which he started in 1971 and never finished. There are many rumors surrounding the piece, perhaps the most famous one being that he was composing it for his own funeral.
